Meat shortages leave Wendy’s diners asking “where’s the beef?”
With meat shortages roiling the domestic food supply given COVID-19 pandemic caused disruptions, some Wendy’s restaurants have taken burgers off the menu.
In turn, customers have taken to social media to complain about where is the beef.
Wendy’s has long prompted that all of its burgers are made with never frozen and thus always fresh beef, unlike many other major fast food burger chains.
Fortunately, so far the beef shortage impact on Wendy’s has been but scattered in a few areas rather than pervasive.
Long term, however, who only knows at this point.
Wendy’s did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
