Today is National Hairstylist Appreciation Day.

Now more than ever, absence makes the hair grow longer.

Throughout most of the United States, hair salons are closed given the COVID-19 pandemic and it is showing – flat hair, split ends, hair roots differently colored than hair coloring, and the like.

Fortunately, there are hints of highlights at the end of the tunnel.

Maybe, just maybe, the COVID-19 pandemic is winding down to soon to commence a staged reopening of the economy.

That and do be sure to remember to provide a more generous gratuity than usual to your hair stylist or barber when you can finally see her or him to both show your appreciation as well as given that your next visit will surely entail some extra attention.
