Fourth Quincy COVID-19 death reported.
While likely still early in the going for the COVID-19 pandemic, so far Quincy has been hit hard by COVID-19.
With but a bit short of 11 percent of the population of Norfolk County, Quincy has to date suffered 57 percent of the COVID-19 deaths in the county.
Similarly, with but roughly 1.4 percent of the population of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts living in Quincy, Quincy has to date suffered over 11 percent of the COVID-19 deaths in the commonwealth.
Granted, early numbers are often at odds with the final ones. Even so, a bad early start does not bode well.
It doesn't look good.
