Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Perp Walks Pending?
Has the Koch Maladministration finally gone too far with a hacked-up hire?
Per a careful and knowing read of a recent considerable and well-documented damning exposé that was undertaken by a regional broadcast news media, complete with an independent outside legal opinion, it would appear that Team Koch has sunk below even its previous low water mark so as to endeavor to yet grift an arguably improper hack hire of one of its own otherwise dubiously qualified progeny.
In this latest grift, Team Koch not only appears to have endeavored a new and looking to be at least improper end around of germane Civil Service rules and regulations – if not also other applicable law, at least one important, longtime, and cagey member of the Massachusetts state legislature surely hopes that he will be able to successfully plead that the maladministration pulled the wool over his oh so well-experienced eyes.
After all, one would think that even a powerful state legislator should only properly fear going the way of a number of now former Speakers of the Massachusetts State House of Representatives.
Plus, at least the Quincy Police Department is all but assuredly already in the feds’ sights after they took out the department’s double and sometimes even triple dipping former and now ex-con lieutenant.
Granted, while who only knows when things might hit the fan, one must keep it in mind that good things often come to those who wait.
Also keep in mind that the longer the wait, the greater the accrued interest.
Quincy has a sordid history with the Civil Service list in recent years. City Hall hires who it wants and gives a shameless amount of preference to under qualified family members. Only then do the powers that be casually glance at the Civil Service list as if it were merely a guide.
