Last call for yet another local dive.

Yet another local dive has been snuffed out.

Delaney’s Pub, which had a perfect score on enuffa.com’s Dive Bar of America’s scale, recently served its last drink and so all but left its regulars homeless.

At least until Marlboro Reds take their inevitable toll, that is.

While there is a remote possibility that Delaney’s might be reborn as South Quincy’s first fusion gastro brewpub featuring designer cocktails, the odds per the totes in Vegas indicate yet another higher rent for Quincy apartment building as more likely, especially given that the purported purchaser of the property already owns an adjacent property.
