No more Pu Pu for you.
After fifty-plus years of operation at 105 Sea Street, the Imperial Terrace has closed.
Long a Necka favorite for takeout as well as for playing Keno while sitting down for a meal, the Imperial Terrace was known for its abiding by Quincy diners’ preference for quantity over quality.
Fortunately for Keno players, nearby Grumpy White’s is still going strong. Value-priced diners, however, not so much.
Long before it became Imperial Terrace, it was named China Star. Not sure when the change took place, but I remember going there with my folks in the 1950’s.
Well at least we still have Cathay Pacific!
