Quincy’s Dancing Waters Return!
While the return of warm weather in Boston is celebrated via such events as Opening Day at Fenway, the relaunching of the Swan Boats for yet another season of cruising the waters in the Boston Public Garden, and the return of Romeo and Juliet – the garden’s arguable Boston Marriage of a couple of swans, Quincy celebrates things differently.
For example, in the New Quincy Center© within the City of Quincy’s at least $28 million to build and even more millions planned to be spent in coming years Kim Jong Koch Plaza, formerly known as Quincy Square and then Hancock Adams Green, Quincy has a brand new tradition: refilling and then turning on Kim Jong Koch Plaza’s homage to the Dancing Waters at The Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Needless to say, those wishing to scrounge up some coins and so able to buy a pack of smokes are pleased to see the refilling of Kim Jong Koch Plaza’s not just one, not just two, but three water fountains!
