Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Play Ball!
Spring has sprung. In turn, such sets the stage for Opening Day!
Actually, the start of the Major League Baseball season has already occurred in Japan at the Tokyo Dome over a week ago.
The reason for opening the season in Tokyo: a special roadshow to honor future sure to be first ballot Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Ichiro Suzuki,
Still got it. ?

In turn, this so gave rise to the earliest start to the season, the Red Sox will be playing their first game of the 2019 season tonight on the road tonight against Ichiro’s Seattle Mariners teammates.
As far as the Red Sox are concerned, the Sox could well find themselves sleepless in Seattle tonight – way better roster notwithstanding – given that Mariners fans are likely to be blowing the roof off of T-Moble Park tonight for Ichiro’s returning to Seattle for his swansong farewell after a number of years as a ronin for other teams.
Speaking of playing around, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s high-powered as well as surely also expensive legal dream team is pressing for a court trial over his recent indictment for alleged solicitations of rubs and tugs at a Florida “massage” parlor.
Apparently, Kraft’s legal team thinks they have a compelling argument to have video recording of his happy endings denied admission as evidence for the prosecution.
If not, however, it must be noted that cameras are allowed in Florida courtrooms.
Either way, one can only reasonably assume that National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell is all but assuredly as well as most likely amusedly biding his time to effect some payback, however indirectly.
On the other hand, so far Bob Kraft’s BFF President Donald Trump has received a qualified pass by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Mueller’s investigation into allegations of Russian interference into the 2016 presidential election.
Granted, the impending rollout of a redacted Mueller report is expected to show that Trump has been more than a little cavalier about abiding by various rules and conventions; at the same time, such is not exactly news.
Regards, Quincy Quarry fully expects that President Trump’s opponents are not going to let it go, much less anytime soon.
Needless to say, count on Quincy Quarry to monitor things as well as be at the ready to report on them as might be appropriate.
