Quincy City Hall snow job failure nonpareil.

In what one can only view as an arguably monumental as well as unprecedented fail that is likely to result in heads on pikes, for the first time ever in the years of Quincy Quarry covering how thoroughly ploughed is Quincy’s City Hall, City Hall’s VIP parking as well as apparently City Hall’s VIP’s are adrift in relatively deep drifts of snow well after sunrise.

Granted, last night’s storm outperformed what was forecast by at least several inches of snowfall. Even so, per City of Quincy standards city workers clearly dropped the plow at City Hall on top of what was only to be expected elsewhere in and around just about everywhere else in the Q.

While Kim Jong Koch Plaza in front of City Hall as well the entrance to City Hall were cleared from curb to curb, things were as deep in the VIP parking lot as is typical after a State of the City bloviating.

Given other pressing events, the Quincy Quarry Sled Dog News Team has yet to be able to mush back around to Quincy Square to see if City Hall took a snow day; however, do count on the Quarry’s newshounds to do so as soon as possible and then report back accordingly.
