Triumph the Insult Comic Dog razzes Ted Cruz and Beto O’Rourke on the campaign trail.

 

While Conan O’Brien is on hiatus, he loaned his biting mutt Trumph the Insult Comic Dog to Stephen Colbert to bring about what has been about the only bipartisan humor this campaign season.

Needless to say Republican Senator Ted Cruz was easy pickings.

 

Conversely, what was surprising is how Cruz’s charismatic opponent Congressman Beto O’Rourke (Democrat, Austin TX) did not go along all that well with the gag.
