Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Stormy is busted!
While Quincy has experienced an extended break from suffering scandals in recent days, things are heating up elsewhere, not to mention that today is a Friday the Thirteenth.
Scandals include purported onetime Donald Trump paramour Stormy Daniels getting busted in Columbus OH per what her attorney is alleging was a bum wrap of a setup.
So far, however, no out word of the White House counterclaiming that her bust was but a stunt pulled to prop up a sagging career.
And in Rockland, the long awaited outside investigation into claims and counterclaims of sexual misbehavior by a pair of senior town officials inside of town hall as well as security system video evidence as to what alleged went down after a late night of drinking on a school night finally hit the fan.
While the investigation report has yet to be released, the female investigator found that the female Rockland Selectman and Quincy native had sexually harassed a male subordinate.
Upon the formal announcement of what was widely expected, the alleged harasser then resigned from the Board of Selectmen all but immediately thereafter.
Her other purported sexual playmate and still a member of the Board of Selectmen, however, was only stripped of his chairmanship and whatever little remained of his dignity.
As for some offsetting compensation as well as fortunately, the video only exposéd the two sexual miscreants heading into a room inside of town hall which does not have a security camera.
When things might similarly heat up in Quincy, however, remains to be seen.
Given that the resigned in disgrace female former Rockland Selectman is a Quincy native, a former City of Quincy employee and the target of all manner of rumors while working for Quincy, one can only assume that something sordid will come up sooner or later.
After all, we are talking the Q.
