The Boston Globe again finds itself uncomfortably featured in the news.
The Globe has wrestled with a series of controversies in recent weeks and months, including the suggestion of harassment by its top editor.
And now the New York Times, a onetime owner of the Globe, piles on with a feature on the Boston broadsheet’s various woes.
Not only are the woes of its top editor addressed, the Times also address the Globe’s slowness to address the years of harassment and such inflicted by its now-former longtime senior Beacon Hill reporter.
The Gray Lady also exposéd a Globe Metro section columnist who appears to have played fast and lose with the facts in his columns.
While probably not as flagrant as was Mike Barnicle, the currently on paid leave Globe columnist’s playing fast and loose has long been obvious to those in the know.
