Stormy weather for Stormy?
Things are now heating up for Stormy Daniels.
President Trump’s attorneys claim that Ms. Daniels – a former adult video performer whose real name is Stephanie Clifford and who has claimed that she had an affair with then private citizen Trump a decade ago – has violated a nondisclosure agreement about the affair at least twenty times and is thus now liable for at least $20 million in damages, reports The New York Times.
No public statements, however, have yet been offered as to how many times Trump may have violated Ms. Daniels.
While not privy to certain of the filings that have been submitted in support of Donald Trump’s damages claim as his attorneys have to date pursued matters via a privately retained arbitration hearing and thus so far keep certain aspects of this alleged affair private, Quincy Quarry’s illicit affairs advisor Darren Morgenstern has perhaps suggested that now President Trump would most likely be facing a tough ho to roll in a regular trial court hearing.
Reasons include that allegedly not only was Trump’s real name not used on the purported non-disclosure agreement with Ms. Daniels, neither did anyone sign on the dotted line for what is assumed to be his purported assumed name as noted in the non-disclosure agreement.
Similarly, it is hard to imagine that even if a court still might uphold the non-disclosure agreement, it is all but impossible to imagine any awarding of additional damages for each public disclosure of the putative affair holding up on appeal.
Key to this view is that any possible claim of lingering secrecy as regards the affair would have essentially gone the way of the loss of virginity upon the event of the initial broaching of the non-disclosure agreement, not to mention that various rumblings suggest Mr. Trump is more of a one and done after spanking him sort.
In any event, expect Quincy Quarry to continue to monitor this particular bit of Stormy weather currently battering the White House and report on any future related revelations as might be deemed appropriate for publication.
