Cooper was indicted late last week for both soliciting as well as accepting thousands of dollars in illegal contributions from developers who funneled the cash into checks written by several phony Russian donors as well as that then Mayor Cooper was among those who benefited from $8,000.00 in cash that was passed along via a Dunkin’ Donuts® bag.
