Quincy Police Officer seriously injured after being hit by car while working a detail .

 

A Quincy police officer was hit by a car this morning in Quincy around 10 AM while working a police detail at the Fore River Bridge.

As this breaking badly bad news is just breaking, expect more details to follow as they maybe become available.

 

What is known at this time, however, is that the officer suffered head and shoulder injuries and was transported by ambulance to Boston Medical Center.
