– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News.
Quincy Police make a mass rollout to Quincy Square in response to stabbing.
During the tail end of today’s evening commute, Quincy Police and other first responders staged a massive response to a stabbing near City Hall and the Quincy Center MBTA station.
As police officers were busy interviewing witness and other first responders were all but assuredly not authorized to comment, Quincy Quarry News personnel on the scene of this latest violent event on the increasingly mean streets of Quincy were left with no other choice but listen and observe.
From listening, it was clear that someone had been stabbed, but no particulars about the victim or the attacker could be gleaned.
And from observing, it was clear that someone was prone on a gurney in an ambulance; however, and ever so ominously, the ambulance was staying put at the scene.
As this is a fast and newly breaking as well as breaking badly bad news for at least the victim, expect Quincy Quarry to follow up if and as further information might warrant doing so.
Today’s (8/31) PL reports that someone was slashed with a boxcutter near City Hall. Maybe tomorrow there will be a shooting. And then who knows … What a wonderful city the Q has become.
