Quincy watering hole surrounded by water from water main break.

A small local Irish-themed pub in West Quincy at the corner of Copeland Street and Common Street has been surrounded by water today given what has been described as “a major water main break.”

How long this local watering hole and which is listed in the innerboston.com Dive Bar gallery will remain on the wrong side of what its regulars surely hope will only be a temporary moat remains to be seen.

Do, however, expect an update from the Quincy Quarry personnel on the scene as to when Guinness is again both available as well as back to its usual room temperature.
