– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy meter man quick-change artist and parking scofflaw.
While out covering another story, a Quincy News personnel happened up a City of Quincy Department of Traffic, Parking, Alarm and Lights parking control person changing into his uniform while also illegally parked.
Fortunately for passerbys, this quick-change artist never went topless.
That and he never dropped trou and so risk ending up on the sex offenders registry.
At the same time, however, as a parking control official, he thought he could park wherever he wanted with impunity as well as regardless of the fact that this very small vehicle was previously exposéd by Quincy Quarry as parking illegally in Quincy Center.
Unfortunately for him, Quincy Quarry has now caught him changing in public as well as parking illegally in a no-parking space as well as so also blocking an off-street private property parking and loading space.
Regardless, as well as always, Quincy Quarry is at the ready to run an exposé of those exposing themselves, especially when it comes to abusing local parking regulations.
Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to the several months’ old new City of Quincy Department of Traffic, Parking, Alarm, and Lights for comment, however, such was impossible as this new department still does not have its contact information posted on the City of Quincy’s website.
Apparently, this parking enforcement officer — and seemingly habitual scofflaw — can’t or won’t adhere to the parking regulations he’s been hired to enforce. (see link in above article) It’s doubtful, though, that he’s been issuing tickets to himself. Of course he and his fellow PEOs are like vultures and have no lack of enthusiasm for slapping tickets on John Q Public’s cars. Granted there are lots of parking problems in Quincy and enforcement is necessary — but what kind of example is being set? Obviously, at least one of Quincy’s PEOs is clueless about how and where to park their vehicle and, it might be said, is increasing the already nightmarish traffic problems in the Q.
What a town.
