Trump trumped by the National Rifle Association.

In a Presidential campaign season wherein one would think that things could not get any stranger, they have.

In the wake of the Orlando massacre, presumptive nominee Donald Trump said that he would support the right to bear arms at watering holes.

In turn, even the National Rifle Association went on the record stating that it thought mixing guns and drinking was not a good idea.

Said Wayne LaPierre, longtime executive vice president and Chief Executive Officer of the NRA while appearing on CBS’ Face the Nation, “I don’t think you should have firearms where people are drinking, but I’ll tell you this: Everybody, every American needs to start having a security plan.”

Whether – or not – LaPierre was referring to – say – a 401k plan or recommending packing a Glock could not be confirmed in time to meet Quincy Quarry’s publication deadline.
