– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy’s Number One Ward Heeler is again questioned over her apparently less than effective efforts at her Quincy tourism director day job.
In an exclusive Quincy Quarry Patriot’s Day exposé, yet another local Citizen Journalist has brought it to the attention of the Quarry that Quincy-specific tourism material is not exactly readily seen at Quincy’s only currently open for business local motel.
As exclusively featured previously in another recent Quincy Quarry Citizen Journalist exposé, local tourism material was nowhere to be readily seen at Quincy’s only hotel.
One would think that she visits both on pwn time, but perhaps she does not want to do made when she does.
One could understand how – say – Boston’s local tourism director might fail to see that tourism material was provided to a couple of Boston’s many hotels and motels, but Quincy only has one of each currently open for business.
In turn, such can only be seen as indicating that the Number One Ward Heeler might not exactly be doing her job at her well-paid day job based within the local chamber of commerce’s office as the City of Quincy’s taxpayers-funded local director of tourism.
Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to Quincy’s Number One Ward Heeler for comment but decided not to bother as the ward heeler has long tried her best to unsuccessfully distance herself from the Quarry’s questioning of her other often questionable actions.
That and rumor has it that she is often not seen – much less readily available – at her Quincy Chamber of Commerce office.
At the same time, do expect Quincy Quarry to check to see if there is any local tourism material at both a local economy bed but pretty much do it yourself breakfast sort of lodging operation in Quincy Center as soon as possible as well as at the long-closed for reconstruction only other motel in Quincy after it finally might reopen for business.
Not sure why she gets away with this. She has this $80K job (I wish I had this type of job) and is supposed to represent Ward One? Shouldn’t she be promoting all the good things happening in our City? Mayor Koch, this was one of your major mistakes last year.
Haven’t seen her around Ward One since she was elected. Never see her at Community gatherings (unless there is going to be a camera at the ready). We see our Councilor at Large folks everywhere… please tell me that she will not run in two years or if she does not get re-elected.
Hammer: Apparently the Ward Heeler believes that she is entitled to a no heavy lifting feather bed grift of a nice income at taxpayers’ expense.
On the other hand, in all honesty setting her up as the local tourism director doesn’t even crack the top 10 list of Q-up’s during the Koch era. Not even close as a matter of fact.
Even so, Karma is warming up in the bullpen to do her thing to unto at least the ward heeler.
Yes, Hammer, I agree … but what, exactly, are all the good things happening in our city? Maybe the rat problem. Or …
For the Ward Heeler, a career at Hill Holiday does not await.
Nor one at Raygun Prevarications either …
