Quincy’s Number One Ward Heeler gets whacked over campaign finance violations.
The Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance recently cited the ward heeler over an unreported in-kind contribution made in support of her 2015 reelection campaign.

Failure to report this contribution violated aspects of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 55; Sections 8, 18 and 19.

Particularly troubling in this particular sanctioned matter is how the contributor’s in-kind contribution was to host for no charge a campaign event for the ward heeler at his restaurant in the wake of the ward heeler long championing the Ctiy of Quincy’s purchasing the restaurant’s parking lot which is the restaurant is required to have by code and so instead have the parking lot available as (putatively, ed.) free public parking.

Needless to say, this proposed purchase would greatly help out financially this publicly known to be struggling restaurant while at the same time would also so provide it with free parking going forward courtesy of local taxpayers.

While the sanctions imposed over this particular violation of Massachusetts General Law were on the order of but a parking ticket, Quincy Quarry is aware of rumored ethics complaints said to have been filed against the ward heeler with State Ethics Commission on what would clearly appear to be far more serious matters both pertaining to circumstances intertwined with this Office of Campaign and Political Finance sanction as well as other ethically questionable matters.

Given that these complaints could well entail potentially far more serious violations, the Quarry has long been anticipating word of all but certain as well as likely to be more serious sanctions than the ones imposed in this matter, including likely considerable financial penalties, to be probably be imposed upon the war heeler.

Needless to say, expect the Quarry to break the news when any further sanctioning of the ward heeler all but assuredly hits the fan.
