Red Line service ranked low in MBTA survey.
The MBTA survey was featured today in the Boston tabloid.
As should come as no great surprise to long suffering Quincy straphangers, Red Line service leaves much to be desired.
In fact, only the Orange Line service was found to be close to comparably bad.
Key findings included that Red Line service failed to meet the T’s lowball target of merely 75% on time performance on a daily basis.
Instead, Red Line on time performance was a lowly 57% – at least it was before last week’s runaway Red Line ghost train hit the fan.
Regardless, with a prime argument in support of all of the new multi-unit residential projects in the works in Quincy predicated upon their having ready public transit accessibility as well as also justifying the reduction of the parking space per unit code requirements for these thousands of pending new residential units in Quincy, one can only respect expect even more public traffic congestion and related trafficking problems down the road in the Q.
Needless to say, count on Quincy Quarry to continue to cover all of the trafficking news in the Q.
