Quincy’s number one ward heeler appears to have reacted to at least certain of previous Quincy Quarry coverage.
In the wake of one of many Quincy Quarry exposés, Quincy’s number one ward heeler ward heeler has changed her social media avatar photo from her recent laughable lobster hat headshot to a more standard sort of headshot.

Whether – or not – this change will impact her said to be by some problematic chances for reelection given all manner of ethical and other sorts of porky concerns remains to be seen.
Then again, as many of her constituents do not bother with social media or other sorts of e-media whereas the number one ward heeler is known to be an arguable obsessive Facebook status updating queen, many might not know of her change to a new social media avatar photo.
Or care, for that matter.
What is not known, at least not yet, is how many photographs were taken, how much PhotoShopping may have been undertaken or how much makeup and/or hair care might have been used to come up with this new avatar photo.

Regardless, it is clear that the ward heeler still needs to work on her so far long suspect communication style given her now opting to list herself as a “Politician” on her Facebook home page is clearly a bad idea during an election year when many locals clearly appear to beyond fed up with the too long ongoing local political machinations and related behind closed doors nonsense.

Either that or perhaps she is simply trying, however inadvisably, to distance herself from questioning about her questionable day job.
In any event, the number one ward heeler was unable to make a candidates forum event last night and was thus unable to respond to her opponent’s noting that many in their ward do not bother with e-media and are thus unhappy that they are so left out of the loop.
Expect Quincy Quarry to continue to harry the number one ward heeler at least through the November general election.

A “politician”, eh? The shellfish hat photo speaks far more to the reality.
Of course, defining herself as a politician speaks quite succinctly to the reality of her attitude and performance.

Quincy’s Number One Ward Heeler spends much of her time during City Council meetings updating her e-media, so her also “TWD” (texting while driving) wouldn’t surprise anyone at Quincy Quarry.

Just got a mailing from her, and all my friends in Ward One did too. First mailing from her in years…That’s not the issue but she mailed on City letterhead….so guess who paid for all of the postage? The tax payers, at least pay for your own postage.

The QQ will be siccing our fearless reporter Nancy Drue to investigate whether – or probably unfortunately not – there are are prohibitions to such surely self-serving mailings sent out by an incumbent ward heeler on the taxpayers’ dime so close to election day.
At minimum, expect the Quarry to feature the ward heeler’s letter in an upcoming Quincy Quarry story.
She is part of the Kochdom. Good luck! Nothing will happen!
Maybe Hoffies will let her use their letterhead (bar napkins & coasters) next time.

Methinks that, suddenly, your attitude has strangely softened towards the #1 Ward Heeler… which is alarming.

Of course Quincy Quarry saw her many faces as it covered the debate live.
More importantly, thank you for confirming what our new crew also noticed – occasionally people accuse the Quarry of making stuff up.
Even better, the crew found out what she said afterwards. Expect coverage on same to probably follow.
Also déclassé, did you see the faces of the chump on a stump in the main event last night whenever he did not have the spotlight? That and hear the display of his ironically thin skin in the timbre of his voice?

QQ checked, rechecked and checked yet again its mail but could not find an invite to Councillor LaForest’s election night party.
Then again, even though the QQ wasn’t invited, the newsroom knew it would not be at Hoffie’s as it is favored for other sorts of “events.”
There are rumblings in the Neck that the Ward One Heeler is planning a meeting regarding the $300,000 Louis parking lot situation on December 15th. Folks are posting on her facebook page asking her simple questions…is there a meeting..what is the agenda….what time….location….is there a communication going out? As usual, nothing….dead silence….is this really how a Councilor is suppose to act? Is she too busy with her other job? Or how about it’s because unless you are friends with her you get no representation?
However, if you are one of those residents asking her questions, all her friends (including politician friends) say “oh the trouble makers are at it again, just ignore them”. It’s sad in this City that some of our politicians can get away with ignoring the folks that are paying their salaries… regarding the Ward One Heeler, her TWO local taxpayer-funded paychecks.

As near as QQ can tell, the rumblings are apparently true that the ward heeler is planning to hold a community meeting on at least some of her grandiose plans for upgrades and grifts at the Hough’s Neck Maritime Center.
The apparent meeting venue: the Hough’s Neck Congregational Church.
At the same time, don’t be surprised if the ward heeler opts to reschedule.
In the meanwhile, do expect shortly BOTH the promised QQ update on the ward heeler ongoing ethics problems as well as yet another QQ exposé of related NEW problems facing the heeler.

Nice, not sure how she gets away with doing these unethical things and her peeps still back her.
Thanks for looking into this. I hope that Mayor Koch sees that “his Ward One” Councilor is causing more grief than he needs.
