A Quincy Center chainsaw massacre victim has made a miraculous recovery.

Unfortunately, this miracle is likely to be short-lived as the sidewalk where the victim has been recovering is purportedly slated to be torn out and replaced shortly.

When this work might actually happen, much less street parking return to Hancock Street in Quincy Center, remains to be seen.

Also remaining to be seen is if this hardy survivor will at least be allowed to last long enough to bloom one last time.
