– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News.
Courtesy of Quincy Quarry’s tenuous relationship with Variety as well as that this week starts the annual two weeks-long Discover Quincy restaurants promotion and thus a couple of embattled Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s favorite weeks of the year, the Quarry has decided to announce well in advance of other major MetroBoston media that a Quincy-based movie may be in the works.
Further surely but coincidental, this still but tentative Quincy-based storyline movie will feature the legendary dining habits of embattled Mayor Thomas P. Koch.
The current working title of the still undergoing development screenplay is “Supperman – Man of Meals.”
While this movie will not be coming to a local theater as there hasn’t been one in Quincy for years, do watch out for expected very short runs at movie theaters in Braintree, Hingham, Randolph, Scituate and even Weymouth as well as all other cities Massachusetts other than Quincy that do have movie theaters.
As such, plan accordingly if interested in seeing Supperman before it moves on to general release in the Philippines and then perhaps onto cable and/or on-demand Internet streaming media – assuming, that is, any licensing bids to so present it are tendered.
Unfortunately for local Kevin James’ fans, as well as given his once all but Siamese-twin attachment notwithstanding with now-embattled Mayor Thomas P. Koch, Mr. James will not be starring in the lead role.
James is apparently committed to filming “Zookeeper 2” as well as spending any and all of his spare moments pitching a screenplay for a follow-up sequel to this sequel.
Additionally, James is rumored to have muttered something to the effect that there wasn’t a script or a large enough cut of the gross that could entice him to return with 1,000 miles of a certain star-struck local hanger on, movie cast and crew buffet crasher, and arguable jinx.
Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately as far as embattled Mayor Thomas P. Koch is concerned, Broadway and film star as well as arguably separated at birth twin Nathan Lane has expressed interest in the lead role if for no other reason than perhaps spite.

Is that the Fukishima glow in the snarqy green jello special?
Sky,
While the Koch Maladministration has long been seen as toxic, Quincy Quarry has no knowledge that the mayor might be radioactive.
It will, however, see what it can do to scrounge up a Geiger Counter to check as, well, a public health matter.
