– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy public schools opened today after over two weeks of closure with apparently a similar concurrent event: a local school student was hit by a car, albeit this time on the way home from school instead of heading to school as happened the last time local schools reopened after an earlier run of Snow Days.
This time, reports suggest much more serious injuries.
All reports note that the child suffered head injuries.
The child was apparently struck by a cab on Berlin Street, a short residential street near the Wollaston MBTA station, and as reported via a Tweet by WBZ-1030.
Another report notes that the accident victim was transported to Boston Medical Center.
Quincy Quarry can only wish for the best possible outcomes for all involved.
