Quincy snow fire sale is enjoying free promotional support by the Quincy Police Department.

Desperate times apparently begat trying anything, especially when no one impartial is buying the spin coming out of City Hall in the wake of its abject mishandling of the recent snowfall that has all but ushered in an Ice Age upon the Q.
Quincy Quarry did not reach out to Quincy Police Chief and surely but coincidentally mayoral brother-in-law Paul “The Beav” Keenan for comment about his department’s public sector promoting of this assumed to be private sector and thus commercial fire sale.
The Quarry also did not reach out to the long and variously challenged Quincy Fire Department Chief Joseph Barron for comment.
After all, it can only reasonably be assumed he is facing enough trouble rolling out fire trucks in response to emergency calls on the ever-increasingly narrow “goat paths” that pass for streets in the Q while concurrently trying to make up for lost time promoting the City of Quincy’s just this week announced launching of an adopt a fire hydrant program.
That and Quincy Quarry does not want to be accused of instigating a turf war over a fire sale between the police and firefighter unions with negotiations for their respective new union contracts pending.
