Quincy Center parking has been hit with a PODS invasion.
Just when locals thought that parking couldn’t become any more scarce in Quincy Center, it did become worse: an unidentified giant PODS pod has mysteriously landed in Quincy Center from parts unknown.
The not duly permitted as well as unlicensed PODS has further has essentially taken up the whole loading zone via its placement in the middle of it and so leaving already harried nearby merchants as well as their long harassed suppliers’ delivery trucks without a place to unload.
While this placement surely makes things easier for the person(s) using the PODS, everyone else concurrently suffers an ever greater loss of parking in and around Quincy Square.
Well, at least those who do not work for City Hall are suffering from a dire lack of parking in Quincy Center given various ongoing Koch Maladministration construction projects.
As again found by Quarry Quincy photography, the many parking spaces reserved for City Hall employees from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays continue to appear to be more than enough.
Numerous observers find the recent overabundance of reserved for City Hall employees parking curious, not to mention that City Hall is only open for business between 8:30 and 4:30 weekdays.
Quincy Quarry suspects the following. Given the start of a new year, the various City Hall VIPS who do not work during the day at City Hall but have long enjoyed using the free reserved parking lot for City Hall in front of the no parking available to the public Quincy Center MBTA station so as to facilitate commuting to their day jobs have not been gifted with new 2015 City Hall parking stickers.
Whether or not this is merely a matter of yet another all too typical slow performance by City Hall or if City Hall is ceasing this favor in the wake of repeated exposures by Quincy Quarry of this particular grift from among the many committed by the Koch Maladministration remains to be seen.
