Trump’s personal fixer negotiated a seven figure payment to ex-Playboy model knocked up by top Republican fundraiser?
President Donald Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, negotiated a $1.6 million payment to a former Playboy model who says a top Republican National Committee official named Elliott Broidy got her pregnant, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
The Wall Street Journal said the payment was negotiated late last year and that the first installment was due on December 1.
At this point, it would appear that the recent search warrants imposed upon Michael Cohen uncovered germane material on the purported pay-off negotiated for Elliott Broidy by the President’s fixer so as to endeavor to cover up both the sixty or so year old married and father of three children with his wife Broidy’s fertile extramarital affair as well as the fact that he apparently did not consider laying out a short money co-pay and undergoing a few days of discomfort from getting himself “snipped.”
Mr. Broidy also has a checkered past when it comes to financial affairs.
In 2009, Broidy pleaded guilty in New York to bribing New York state pension officials with almost $1m in return for their making a quarter of a billion dollar investment in an Israel-focused investment fund he had helped to manage.
He and the firm operating the fund paid over thirty million dollars in fines; however, the charges against Broidy were downgraded and he thus avoided spending time in jail.
And more recently, Broidy has been implicated in murky Russian financial dealings which involved indicted former Trump Presidential Campaign manager Paul Manafort as well as that Broidy and his attorney wife were reported as seeking a seventy-five million dollar fee to quash an investigation in the US into a multibillion-dollar fraud committed in Malaysia.
