Schumer calls cops after forged sex scandal charge hits the fan.
As Quincy Quarry has been expecting would happen probably sooner rather than latter, an apparent effort to both dupe a news organization as well as falsely smear a United States Senator appears to have been endeavored via said to be false allegations of sexual harassment.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (Democrat, New York) claims he was the victim of a fake news hit.
In turn, Senator Schumer turned over to Capitol Police a document that purports to detail accusations of lurid sexual harassment lodged by a former staffer.
Senator Schumer may be many things, but even Quincy Quarry is viewing these particular allegations as suspect.
In turn, the said to be fake document poses two problems: one, it appears to have been created to endeavor to dupe reporters; and, the other appears to have been a poorly executed attempt to falsely smear a senator.
Needless to say, if the accusations are in fact false, the purportedly faked document would pose a new dark side of an amped-up news environment where harassment charges are proliferating and even reporters themselves have become targets.
