How did the man known as “The Mooch” first come to meet President Trump?

 

The person who is apparently responsible for doing so is now residing in New Zealand.

After Anthony Scaramucci was appointed President Trump’s communications director last month, former US Senator and current US Ambassador to New Zealand Scott Brown was bragging that he had been the one who had introduced the Mooch to the Donald.

 

After Scaramucci’s inglorious sacking ten days later, however, Brown is declining comment.

 

Fortunately for Ambassador Brown, he is already on the opposite end of the world from Washington DC.
