One time Quincy real estate mogul pleading out today – or at least shortly?

Per two different and all but invariably reliable sources, former local real estate wheeler dealer and auctioneer Dan FlynnFlam is said to be appearing in a US Federal District Court in Boston today.

One source is a media source speaking without attribution and the other a bartender who can variously be assumed to intimately familiar with FlynnFlam. 

While other than Quincy Quarry, the media’s credibility is widely viewed as suspect these days, if one can’t trust a bartender, who can be trusted?

Regardless, FlynnFlam is said to be pleading out on a long list of charges in what has been described as a Ponzi scheme.

Plus, it is around time for the federal case against FlynnFlam to finally go to trial.

A previous trial date was continued last fall. 

Reasons for the continuance include that FlynnFlam’s federal public defender was going out on a maternity leave.

Additionally, at the time that the continuance was granted, the feds had not yet fully documented the financials for FlynnFlam’s alleged griftings from at last report upwards of 150 victims.

As this is a still breaking story, expect Quincy Quincy to exposé things as more becomes known.
