Quincy Police Dock is rumored to be yet another costly snow removal victim.

In a still fast-breaking story, a reliable and well as knowledgeable source along the Quincy waterfront has advised Quincy Quarry that the floating docks used at the Quincy Police Marine Unit naval base and public boat launch at 1 Seat Street have apparently met untimely ends in watery graves.

This same source advised the Quarry that the docks had been moved into the Fore River Shipyard for winter storage in the water, only to end up covered with snow dumped into the harbor by snow removal workers and so sank as well as otherwise trashed.

Whether – or not – the workers involved in the purported sinkings looked over the side to see if there was anything in the water before they dumped the snow or if the dumping was done after the City obtained a waiver to do so from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection is as yet to be known given the fast-breaking nature of this latest breaking badly bad news Quincy Quarry News story about a Q-up in the Q.

Similarly, Quincy Quarry can only speculate as to what went wrong with the work quality control efforts of City of Quincy “snow chasers” in charge of overseeing the City’s snow clearing operations.

In the meanwhile, Quincy Quarry fully anticipates that Quincy Harbormaster, Quincy Police Chief and surely but coincidentally mayoral brother-in-law Paul “The Beav” Keenan has no interest in offering up any comment on this latest Q-up, at least not to the Quarry over this latest apparent scoop.

Plus, one can only hope that Quincy Harbormaster and Police Chief Keenan is utterly consumed by emergency efforts alongside the US Department of  Homeland Security as well as the Pentagon to develop a new plan to protect Quincy from an amphibious assault by ISIS.

Reasons include that she is said to still be livid over the Quarry’s hard-hitting but fair exposé of her apparent initial special plowing treatment early on during this past snowy winter and then which was then followed Quincy Quarry’s subsequent also fair game coverage of her apparently later wearing out her welcome with local plow drivers.

As many Nekkers love boating almost as many of them also love Bud Light, one can only assume that the councillor is going to have a tough time with her constituents until such time as the public landing is fully back in service.
