MBTA rolls Six New Orange Line Train Cars Into Service Today

The new state of the art train cars will be unveiled Wednesday.

MBTA rolled six new Orange Line train cars into service this morning.

For the first time in roughly forty years, the Orange Line has some new train cars.  Additionally, a hundred and forty-six more are slated to be in service by 2022.

So far to the surprise of jaded strap hangers at Quincy Quarry, the rollout of the new train cars has gone off without any so far obvious hitches.

On the other hand, the day is still young and the T is still the T.
