Worcester officials to hold announcement on a pending deal to bring Triple A baseball to Worcester on Friday.

 

The announcement is directly related to ongoing efforts of Worcester city leaders seeking to lure the Pawtucket Red Sox to relocate to Wusta.

In turn, Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to Quincy’s City Hall to inquire if the Koch Maladministration might be considering to similarly incent the Portland Sea Dogs to move to the Q so as to not be outdone by Worcester; however, the Quarry figured that there was no point bothering to attempt to contact anyone senior at City Hall for comment on an August Friday afternoon.
