MBTA said rail and bus delays are likely this week because of cold weather.

OK, but what about “regular delays” when the weather is reasonably pleasant?

Seriously, New England is experiencing arctic weather conditions whereas the MBTA system was (barely, ed.) engineered and then built to almost withstand New England winters.

Even so, Quincy Quarry personnel out and about today riding the T found things reasonably functioning as well as MBTA personnel graciously doing what they could to help riders see their ways to and fro as quickly as possible.
