Quincy hit by salt dust storms.

While out early this morning looking for breaking badly news© on the ever-increasing mean streets of the Q, Quincy Quarry news personnel were overtaken by salt dust.

City workers apparently were out last night brining certain major local streets in advance of today’s forecast of a possible feather dusting of snow midday and the potential for a very light and potentially freezing rain during the evening commute.

Washing down the salt?

While for a change city workers were brining local streets closer to the anticipated and in this case minor weather events, the amount of salt dust kidded up by passing vehicles still was clouding the air as well as both clogging the lungs and inflaming the eyes of passersby.

So bad was the salt dust cloud, Quincy Quarry personnel on the scene had to take a salt break before they might later check to see what steps have been undertaken to protect City Hall from at most minor weather events later today.
