Quincy Mayor Koch brushed off by Governor at Buzz Off?

At this year’s fourth annual Saving By Shaving fundraiser, hosted yesterday by Granite Telecommunications, to support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute yesterday, Mayor Thomas P. Koch was set up for his buzz cut quite some distance from Governor Charlie Baker at what was a very important photo op, however also surely embarrassing.

Is their bromance over – or perhaps at least on the rocks?

After all, Mayor Koch was all but an afterthought for videoing by the South Shore broadsheet.

In fact, not only did Mayor Koch not appear in the video until the almost seven minutes into a just short of twelve minute video – and then only briefly at that, it would appear that the only reason the Mayor was in the video at all was because the Governor opted to point out the Mayor just as he was being as closely shorn as are local homeowners when property tax bills are due. 

In turn, it would appear that Mayor Koch was not exactly thrilled to then be videoed getting a wiffle – or maybe it was with a wiffle itself as the mayor has long been known for his surely painstakingly-coiffed hair helmet.

Similarly, one had to click through most of the South Shore broadsheet’s still photographs photo gallery to find a picture of Mayor Koch.

Has the broadsheet also turned on Mayor Koch?
