Melania Trump accepts Daily Mail apology and damages in libel case.

 

The First Lady is to be paid damages suspected be close to $3 million given a lawsuit filed a British newspaper over claims that in years long past that she had ‘provided services beyond simply modelling’

 

This is the not the first big money settlement over slanderous things said about one of the two least unpopular members of the First Family.

The First Lady also settled a similar lawsuit earlier this year that had been filed against a Maryland blogger who had alleged similar scurrilous things about her as well as that she had also suffered a nervous breakdown during the recent presidential campaign.

 

At this point, Quincy Quarry has yet to be able to discern what Mrs. Trump will be doing with her net proceeds derived from these successful lawsuit filings. 

 

While donating the money to charity would be a nice touch, one could also view it as reasonable for her to bank the proceeds so as to be able fund future legal actions against any other scurrilous defamers.

 

In the meanwhile, it would clearly appear that if one goes after the Queen, one should also have video – or at least pictures.
