Assailant's spit may be key to Quincy stabbing investigation

Saliva may prove to be a key piece of evidence for police in Quincy as they try to identify the man who stabbed a woman several times at a local Karaoke bar early Sunday morning.

 

A 43-year-old woman remains in critical condition at a Boston hospital Monday morning after she was stabbed more than five times at the Karaoke bar.

 

Quincy police gathered the victim’s clothing as evidence after receiving reports that the assailant spat on the victim as he was stabbing her.

 

In the meanwhile, while a suspect has yet to be arrested, police are actively working the case.
