Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Summer ends but things are heating up in the Q.
While school summer vacation is ending and students will be heading back to school next week, the long-suspected as well as long-suspended alleged police detail double dipper was in federal court earlier this week for his arraignment on what are likely to be an unlucky thirteen charges.
Additionally, per a close read of the indictment, one will see allegations of a few incidences of triple-dipping.
That and at least hints of perhaps even more charges – if not also additional defendants – to follow or at least the potential for all sorts of embarrassment for others when this case goes to trial as is widely expected, if not also promised.
And as for other news, serial tree killings in the Q continues with no apparent end in sight.
Particularly troubling given this summer’s dire drought on the tree killings of mostly city trees was Quincy Quarry documenting a city water truck inexplicably left parked and unintended for quite a while.
On a bright note, however, expect an upcoming story of how an apparently hardy tree that has survived a ruthless chain sawing.
Unfortunately, one can only assume that this tenacious tree is destined for a dumpster as the Hancock Street Misalignment project might finally actually be approaching completion roughly ten months behind schedule.
As always, those in the know in the Q know to turn to Quincy Quarry to see breaking badly news© about Quincy reported as no other media dare do.
After all, the Quarry isn’t Google’s top-ranked source for News About Quincy for nothing.
