Quincy plowed after last night’s storm.
Quincy Quarry’s Sunday news crew found Quincy’s streets generally at least adequately plowed.
Needless to say, the crew found this to be inexplicably eerie.

Tough luck student – no Snow Day

At the same time, the Quarry is nothing if not balanced and fair™ in its reporting that for a most unexpected change local streets appear to have been sufficiently plowed after last night’s windy but ultimately modest snow storm.
Even local schools parking lots were at least mostly plowed by the break of dawn this morning.
Then again, with the Patriots in Denver for the AFC title game today, the last thing local officials want to endure are irate fans unable to pick up their party platters or make a late run to their favorite packie.
Whether – or not – Quincy Quarry’s recent less than flattering coverage of the City of Quincy’s less than impressive response to a less than impressive storm last week had any impact is unclear.

Bon vivant Walkbacker
An ill-advised old Facebook photo

Arguable miracle notwithstanding, the Quarry did not even consider bothering to try to raise bon vivant and Koch Maladministration spokes model Pinocchio Walkbacker from his usual Sunday morning stupor to then foist his usually baseless spin about this winter miracle of actually reasonable performance for a change.
Quincy Quarry also took pity on the rumored to soon be retiring and already senior citizen discount eligible Department of Public Works Works Commissar Dan “Spanky” Raymondi and thus did not bother to endeavor to drag him out of his warm bed this morning to offer comment on this most remarkable – if not  miraculous – event of actually adequately cleared local streets in Quincy for a change.

Snow covered new VIP City Ride

At the same time, the Quarry must report the usual variation in work effort focus as well as quality in plowing; specifically, City Hall was yet again pluperfectly plowed as well as well-salted as usual before the dawn’s early light.
Finally, while the Quarry has yet to be able to officially determine who has been benefaction with the new and upscale SUV city ride that has been left in the City Hall VIP parking lot, it was there yet again this morning.
