This tweet. More specifically, the video in this tweet. For those that missed Sunday’s blowout, this celebration by Julian Edelmam directed at the masses of Bills fans roaring mindlessly in Ralph Wilson Stadium, perfectly encapsulates what the Patriots did. You heard the Bills. All week long. They said they were ready for us (they were not). They said they hated us. They actually went as far as to dub this game, their Super Bowl. It was that big for them. And they were embarrassed on their own field.

The Bills scored first, but the Patriots offense continued to look unstoppable. Brady threw the ball all over the field. Gronk continued to prove that he is not a human. Julian Edelman played with the type of reckless abandon Pete Carroll fantasizes about. Danny Amendola made the catch of the game.
Hell EVEN Aaron Dobson got in on the fun with 7 catches for 87-yards in what may have been his best year as a Patriot.
The defense didn’t look great, but looked a lot better than they did against the Steelers (although to be fair, the gap between Ben Roethlisberger and Tyrod Taylor is unquantifiable…) and they were better than the box score would indicate.
The most important signs for optimism were that they made big plays. They sacked Tyrod Taylor eight times, with Chandler Jones accounting for 3.0 and Jamie Collins getting credit for 2.5.
They also intercepted Taylor three times. Twice came on passes off receivers fingertips by Malcolm Butler and Logan Ryan, both of whom made tremendously acrobatic plays to catch the ball. Duron Harmon got the third on a terrible Taylor throw, but nonetheless, they were important plays.
But we all knew this was coming. The Bills weren’t going to stun us like they did the Colts. It wouldn’t have been out of the realm of possibility that they stole a victory, but the confidence the “Bills Mafia” was showing was absolutely absurd.

The Patriots are now 2-0 and look like the class of the NFL heading into a week three matchup with the Jaguars, and it’s shaping up to be a blowout unless Jacksonville has really completely turned themselves around from the mess they were last year.
After that is a Cowboys team without two of their best offensive players… boy, the Patriots sure picked a good time to let their best defensive player in a decade walk in free agency.

Roy Hobbs may just be the greatest pure hitter the sport of baseball has ever seen. He also bears a striking resemblance to Robert Redford, and wields his trusty “Wonderboy” bat to hammer justice, and dingers. Hobbs also moonlights as a 21 year old intern who loves sports and is working with the QQ experts to learn and get as much experience as he can possibly fit into his schedule.
