Boa Busted in Braintree

A Boa constrictor was busted in Braintree yesterday.
While Braintree residents were not quite as panic stricken to the level of passengers facing Snakes on a Plane, there apparently was considerable social media chatter while the snake was loose, including the demand for proof that is was actually taken into custody.
After all, Braintree Police did provide a close up picture of the escaped snake while in the grass for use with its BOLO alert but failed at that point in the pursuit of the escapee to effect its capture.
Quincy Quarry was not able to confirm rumors that the police contingent that took the picture could not figure out how to handcuff the snake.
In any event, one can only imagine how many children – and perhaps more than just a few adults – will be checking under the beds for at least awhile.
