Quincy City Hall facing new fire safety concerns?
Between a recent near disaster in Stoughton given a snow-covered fire hydrant as well as in the wake of last September’s devasting old City Hall fire, one would think that the Koch Maladministration would be doing its best to provide another fire disaster in Quincy Center.
Then again, its best has long left much to be desired.
Accordingly, via new as well as always compelling Quincy Quarry investigative photography, its crack-addled team has yet again uncovered new City Hall shortcomings.
This time, the Quarry found a number of fire hydrants on City property variously covered with snow.

By contrast, just across the street, the always hardworking maintenance crew at the Presidents Place building had the hydrant on their sidewalk pluperfectly cleared as well as surely had done so well before the crack of dawn following the Ground Hog’s Day storm.
Exemplary example of “Best Practices” nothwithstanding, another hydrant on City of Quincy property was all but covered with snow in the middle of Hancock Street between Presidents Place and City Hall.

Per its standard practice, Quincy Quarry did not reach out to City Hall for comment as it knew that one would not be provided on this latest Koch Maladministration shortcoming.
The Quarry also did not reach out to the long and variously challenged Quincy Fire Department Chief Joseph Barron for comment as it can only reasonably be assumed that he has been told not to be available for comment.
Do, however, expect Quincy Quarry to report on any and all germane further developments on this latest City Hall shortcoming.
