<![CDATA[Vote early and often | quincy news
– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News.
Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch called upon residents to vote early and often but still ends up on the losing end of this election.
Is this call to stuff the ballot box to help Quincy Youth Hockey’s now failed attempt to win a $150,000.00 award from Kraft Foods a portent for the upcoming fall local elections?

Getting out the vote

To whit, for all of Mayor Koch’s tweeting and surely otherwise calling for ballot stuffing, Quincy Youth Hockey ended up knocked out in the quarter finals for the eastern rinks in the hunt.
Knocked out – even before the semi finals and thus de facto primary election.
Granted, the $20,000.00 consolation prize award handily beats a less than well-plowed street in Quincy in February going away, but the self-proclaimed key endorser to have in your corner and long suspected ballot stuffing aficionado would clearly appear to have at least misplaced his self-perceived king-making Midas touch.

In turn, such would go a long way to explain why the City Hall has suddenly gone silent as regards the disappointing results of this recent national election and as it invariably does when news does not break its way.
Will the upcoming local elections play out similarly for Quincy’s currently no longer fair haired – nor haired at all for that matter – mayor?
Expect Quincy Quarry to fully cover this still developing story.
