– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch appears to be missing.
Following Quincy Quarry’s standard no holds barred coverage of Quincy’s City Hall taking a Snow Day in the wake of The Blizzard of 2015, the formerly empty VIP parking lot behind what’s left of fire-ravaged City Hall was suddenly somewhat full with the vehicles of key Koch Maladministration senior officials.
Nowhere, however, was Mayor Koch’s Grand Cherokee with the “QUINCY” vanity plate anywhere to be seen, much less in its usual prime parking space.
Per “French Kiss,” Quincy Quarry’s long time mole within City Hall, Mayor Koch was neither anywhere to seen at City Hall nor at Quincy’s QEMA (Quincy Emergency Management Agency) command center as this is no such emergency center – at least not until after the funds to build one are made available via the next multimillionaire dollar local municipal bond authorization.

Quincy Quarry was, per its usual expectations, unable to secure any comment on where is Mayor Koch as City Hall never returns its calls.
As such, rumors instead abound.
For example, with the local snowfall from the Blizzard of 2015 deeper than the mayor’s inseam is short, lost in an even deeper snow drift is within the realm of perhaps plausible.
More likely, however, is that Mayor Koch is perhaps making a nuisance of himself at the MEMA (Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency) emergency bunker in Framingham.
One suspected possible such annoyance is trying to score himself an official MEMA logo windbreaker.
While MEMA prepares for all manner of contingencies, laying in an XXL extra short cadet windbreaker is not likely to be on its provisions checklist.

More likely, however, Koch is likely to instead be trying to bum a ride along with his apparently no longer bff and now Governor Charlie Baker so attempt to affect a photo op with an elected official who actually expects things to both happen quickly as well as cost-effectively.
This, in turn, only reinforces the suspicion in some quarters that he has been tossed into snowdrift.
Regardless of what is actually the case, expect Quincy Quarry to continue to be on Koch’s case.
