The Watergate Scandal is far from the only instance that an inside leak provided valuable information essential to exposing a major political scandal.
Such is also the case, if not also more often, for the current and variously problematic Administration in Quincy’s City Hall.
After months of laying low, “French Kiss, Quincy Quincy’s rat mole in City Hall, came out of his hole to meet with the Quincy Quarry investigative reporter Carl Woodward in a local parking garage.
Following is what Kiss shared with Carl.

Quincy Quarry Reporter Carl Woodward:  So Rat – long time no see.  Whazzup?

Rat Mole French Kiss:  Carl, it hasn’t been that long.
Quincy Quarry Reporter Carl Woodward:  Yes it has.
Rat Mole French Kiss:  I’ve been meaning to call, but I haven’t been able to do as the paranoia around City Hall hit DEFCON One months ago.
Quincy Quarry Reporter Woodward:  So, would it be safe to assume that you had nothing for the feds on FlynnFlam.

A longtime bad Koch habit

Rat Mole Kiss:  OK, I showed up late and had to take a number.  By time my number was called, Danny Boy’s was number was up to nine counts.  I had nothing at that point.
Quarry Reporter Woodward:  So, now you come crawling to me?  What can you tell me that I don’t already know.  After all, the feds are arraigning FlynnFlam tomorrow on 9 counts with more sure to follow.
Rat Mole Kiss:  Look – I’ve got something else.
Reporter Woodward:  What – and it better be good.

Rat Kiss:  Koch’s master plan to get out the vote.
Woodward:  OK, I am listening.
Rat:  Things got desperate.  First, the repeated poll numbers were bad private poll after private poll and then the public polls hit the fan – even after Koch had to ramp the shakedowns so he could spend even more money.
Woodward:  Rat, you’re back to nothing.
Rat:  Listen – I am serious.  Things become even more desperate after the Quarry published its exposé on the problems with Quincy’s voting machines.
Woodward:  You’ve still got nothing.  Haven’t you read that the Quarry has already followed up with coverage of the multiple broken voting machines and that complaints to the Secretary of State have already been lodged?

Rat:  Look – I really have something – the masterplan to get out the vote at Mount Wollaston Cemetery/Ward 7.
Woodward:  Still nothing new.
Rat:  Honest, they are taking it up a notch.
Woodward:  OK, I’ll bite – how?
