Nangle has served in the House since 1999, representing the 17th Middlesex District.

A mid-morning news conference hosted by U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling, the FBI and IRS criminal investigators laid out a wide range of criminal acts allegedly committed by probably soon to be former State Representative Nangle in a twenty eight count indictment which further poses the potential of upwards of a million dollar in fines and recompensation orders.

No comment, however, as to why state law enforcement agencies are apparently not involved with the investigation and prosecution of Nangle.

Not that anyone at Quincy Quarry is surprised by the apparent lack of state officials aggressively stepping up to the plate to address suspected campaign fund abuses and criminal violations by yet another Massachusetts politician.
