Red Line train stopped

MBTA inflicts a Snow Fail on Red Line straphangers.

As long suffering local public transit riders have come to expect, the Red Line was hit with delays shortly before the height of the morning commute today.

Fortunately, if not also amazingly, the service was reported as back to normal shortly after 7 AM.

On the other hand, the Downtown Crossing MBTA CharlieCard service center apparently will be experiencing a snow delayed opening today.

And just breaking badly, the Orange Line has been hit with fifteen minute delays given power problem at its State Street station.
